Self Portrait, Pen and Ink, 2009 Welcome to my website. I am an artist whose has a heart for life. I love art. It's a big colorful world. Whether it is the beauty of human life seen through a portrait or figure, or the ever changing powerful forces of nature in a landscape, or the simple quietness of a still life, I love reproducing all of them as a work of art. I appreciate the different looks that all the mediums create when you work with them. From the simplicity of graphite to the contemporary crispness of photography and the boldness of oil painting I enjoy them all. As a classical realist artist, I use old world techniques to express my modern subjects realistically. I set out to capture the essence of each subject.
